This ariel view shows the Agriculture site of El Recreo. This archeological site was found in the Amazon and Orinoco lowlands in South American. The site is considered an agricultural site due to the varieties of domesticated crop species that were found. Furthermore, the agricultural site of El Recreo developed during the Holocene era. During the Holocene era temperatures allowed for crop growth. At the site El Recreo grinding stones and hoes where found as well as plant remains of palms and avocados, which gave evidence to support that agricultural practices developed in this area.
